Lafayette 148 Taps Liz Fraser as President

Liz Fraser has been named president of Lafayette 148, a new post. She will be responsible for global sales and marketing, as well as design and merchandising, for apparel and accessories.
Fraser joined Lafayette 148 earlier this year as a strategic business adviser. She will report to Deirdre Quinn, cofounder and chief executive officer.
Earlier, Fraser had been ceo of Anne Klein, prior to which she was president of Marc by Marc Jacobs, where she was an executive member of the launch team that built the business into a multichannel, multicategory global lifestyle brand with more than $1 billion in retail sales.
Fraser’s appointment at Lafayette 148 comes at a time of rapid global expansion for the brand, which has experienced double-digit sales growth over the last several years across its wholesale, direct and retail channels. With four store openings this year, Lafayette 148 operates 21 freestanding boutiques in the U.S. and Asia, with additional locations slated to open next year. Fraser is expected to play a key role as the company continues to evolve into a multicategory lifestyle brand.
