Tibi Taps Laura McEwen as Senior Vice President of Global Sales

Laura McEwen has joined Tibi, the advanced contemporary brand, as senior vice president of global sales.
She takes over duties formerly handled by Brendan Wittlinger, who left the company.
Most recently, McEwen was head of sales and partnerships at Flipboard, digital news curators, prior to which she was founder and chief executive officer of Squarecanvas LLC. Earlier, McEwen was with Condé Nast as vice president and publisher of Teen Vogue and Self.
In her new role, McEwen will lead the sales organization globally, the private client group and the retail network.
In a related move, Solène Pouyat will join Tibi as director of sales, managing the EMEA region, South America, and other key accounts. It is a new post. Most recently, Pouyat spent six years at Balenciaga, leading key regions for wholesale. Her appointment is effective Aug. 13.
McEwen reports to Elaine Chang, president of Tibi, who was elevated from chief marketing officer earlier this year. Poyat reports to McEwen.
